A lawyer raising legal awareness among Dalit women and girls, Gauri has been honoured by the Ministry of Women and Child Development for her work. She is associated with National Campaign on Dalit Human Rights.
Leelavathi S
Karnataka
With Women’s Voice for 24 years, Leelavathi organises domestic and construction workers, fighting for housing, healthcare, education, and fair workplace rights across Karnataka. She is also associated with Karnataka Domestic Workers Union.

With 19 years in the social sector, Lila has worked on the issues of social, health, education, domestic violence in urban slums of outer Delhi. She is currently working with CADAM.

Litu leads protests and campaigns against child labour, abuse, and exploitation, advocating for fair wages and justice for oppressed workers in Odisha. He is associate to NACDAOR.

A passionate social justice advocate for 26+ years, Panchshila works through NDMJ and Ojas Society to promote legal rights, gender equality, and dignity for SC/ST and marginalised groups in Maharashtra.

With 20 years in Dalit-Adivasi rights, Penki leads justice, land rights, and education campaigns while coordinating state-wide initiatives to ensure access & accountability. He is associated with the Dalit Bahujan Shramik Union.

Rajaram founded the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Gram Vikas Samiti and uplifts rural communities through education, health, and women-led livelihoods in partnership with Khadi India and other initiatives.

A lawyer and founder of Hilal, Rihana works for Dalit Muslim women’s rights, girls’ education, and legal empowerment, while supporting 7 adopted children.

Rishala has spent 20+ years working tirelessly with the Musahar community, addressing women’s rights, education, bonded labour, and child protection. Currently, she empowers 300 women as a Sakhi with NRLM.

Working on Dalit rights since 2009, Sarita leads awareness campaigns on child and women's rights through plays, songs, and writing, fostering leadership in her community. She has been associated with NACDAOR for over 16 years.

Fighting child marriage, labour, and caste oppression, Sumitra educates communities on the Constitution and Dalit rights, pushing for systemic change. Since 2017, she has been working with Bal Ashram on Dalit rights
