Ms. Arti Ahuja, IAS (Retd.) officer of the Odisha cadre, she has held senior leadership positions in the Government of India and the Government of Odisha across health, nutrition, labour, social protection and governance. She is a distinguished public policy expert and former Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
An alumna of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs, Ms. Ahuja has led significant policy reforms in public health, social security, labour governance and institutional development. She played a key leadership role in India's public health response during the COVID-19 pandemic and chaired the G20 Employment Working Group during India's G20 Presidency.
Internationally recognised for her contributions to public policy and nutrition, she has served on the Independent Expert Group of the Global Nutrition Report and has worked with leading institutions, including the World Bank, UNICEF, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Harvard University and University College London. She continues to advise national and international organisations on governance, public policy and inclusive development.
